How to Connect to eduroam

What is Eduroam?

The wifi access point known as “Eduroam” is a federated service that allows logins from any college or university that is taking part in the federation. In order to use it, they log in on their own campus using their full email address (example@skidmore.edu, or example@harvard.edu) and regular password. Then, if that person travels to another college that is also using Eduroam, their device will automatically use Eduroam at that other college.

Although you can access wifi from other college when you're physically located on their campus, you might not have full access to their network for things like using their printers or local storage resources (e.g. Datastor).
