How to Connect to Skidmore Secure on a Computer

How to connect to the Skidmore Secure wifi from your MacOS computer.

1. Click on the Wifi symbol in the upper right of your menu bar. It looks more or less like this:
   
    
2. Choose the Skidmore Secure option from the provided list of wifi access points.
   
    
3. You will be asked for your Skidmore login credentials. Your user name should be the first part of your Skidmore email address, the part before the @ symbol. The password should be the same one you use to log into email, The Spring, or any other Skidmore online resource. Once you've entered your credentials, click on the Join button.
   
    
4. You may be asked to confirm the connection. If so, click on the Continue button.
5. Once the connection is complete, the wifi symbol in the menu bar will have solid bars.
   

How to connect to the Skidmore Secure wifi from your WindowsOS computer.

1. Under wifi networks select SkidmoreSecure
2. Type in your Skidmore username (which is the same as your Skidmore email address except you will not include the @skidmore.edu)
3. The password will be the same as your Skidmore password
4. Then select connect.
5. Your computer will then ask if you're sure you want to connect and you will then need to select connect again

After this point you will be connected to SkidmoreSecure
