Employee Changing Departments

Please note: This service is intended to streamline the process of providing access to required software tools and applications for employees transitioning to a new department.  Use the "Submit a Ticket" link on the right to access the form and provide the required information.

Items Included in the Service Request

Computer Installation

  • Specify if a computer needs to be moved, or if the employee is changing their computer.
  • Ask for additional equipment the employee may need (e.g. additional monitor, docking station or external mouse for laptop)
  • Specify additional software needs based on department, e.g. Cistix.

Phone Installation

  • Indicate if a Office phone is going to need to be changed.

Access to Departmental Datastor, Shared email, and Okta Applications

  • List any datastor shared folders the employee will need to access or if they need access removed
  • Provide account for any shared emails the employee will need to use or be removed from
  • List any additional Okta Apps shortcuts the employee requires

Items Not Included in the Service Request

Access to functions in Oracle

  • Additional oracle access needs need to come directly from Financial Services

Access to The Student Portal (Banner)

  • Student Portal access permissions come from the Registrar's office

Access to Content 7 (C7)

  • Permission to access to Content 7 needs to come from Tammy Blair
