Use this Service if...
You need help with one of the following items:
- You need help resetting your password
- You need your account unlocked
- You need help getting Okta Verify working
- You need your Alumni email account unblocked
Please Note:
In order to do any of these items we will need to confirm your identity visually. This can be done one of two ways:
- If you are on, or near campus, you can come by the 1st floor of the Scribner Library, to the IT Help Desk.

You can put in a ticket using the request a zoom meeting button to the right. This will put in a request to schedule a zoom meeting so that we can see your face and compare it against our records. Zoom Meetings can only be scheduled during our normal hours of operation. Please use the home page as a guide for what they are currently. If no one is able to meet with you at your requested time, we will reach out to find an alternative.
Additional Information about Password Resets
The systems listed below are independent of the IT managed services and you will need to get in touch directly with the listed department for help changing that password.
Systems we cannot change your password for:
- Health Services Portal
- Parent access to billing system
- Skidmore Connect (the alumni system)
- Career Services system

Additional information about Unlocking a Skidmore Account
If it is not an immediate need, lock outs only last for a half an hour. If it was your first log on attempt that triggered this lock out then you should check to see if one of your devices is trying to connect to Skidmore secure using a wrong password. If that's the case you will want to either correct the password or forget the network.
Additional information about Setting up Okta Verify
If you have a new device and still have access to the old device you will want to log in to to your skidmore.okta.com account and disable okta verify as an authentication method. Once disabled you can click the set up button next to Okta Verify to set up the new device.
Additional Information about Alumni email account unblocks
For alumni who have graduated from 2010 and forward, We have a policy which will automatically block the alumna's email address after it has been unused for 120 days. If you are finding that you are unable to get into your alumni email, and it has been over 120 days since you last used it, you will need to use one of the following methods listed above to have it unblocked.
